What to Expect when Visiting Word of Grace:

  • Who is there?

WOG is comprised of married and single adults, and children of all ages. Families and their children worship together.

  • What is the Schedule?

We start  our worship at 10:30am each Sunday morning.  This time includes corporate prayer, singing, scripture reading, a sermon, the Lords Supper and a Q&A time.

We enjoy a weekly fellowship meal following worship.

  • Type of Preaching?

Word Of Grace is committed to a systematic study of the Bible via expository preaching through entire books of Bible. Verse by verse exegesis of text.   All ages are together for the teaching of the God’s word.

  • What is the music like?

Our formal worship times are comprised of:

Singing of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs (we sing a Psalm from “Psalter,” a couple of hymns and biblically sound choruses)

Various members use their gifts to play instruments ranging from piano, guitar, violin, cello, and viola.

  • What about Communion?

Every week we observe the Lord's Supper. The elements of The Lord’s table are to be received only by individuals who are baptized believers in good standing with their local church.

If you are a baptized believer, we welcome you to participate  if you are in good standing with your local church.

  • Is there a time for Fellowship?

Every week we enjoy a FELLOWSHIP MEAL. Each family brings a “covered dish”  that we combine for what we call a "pot-providence" meal.  This is not just a “feed your face” time… Acts speaks about breaking bread together. This time is strategically a time for Iron to Sharpen Iron, for relationships to flourish and for Titus 2 relationships (older teaching younger) to be fostered.

ACTS 2:42  “And they were continually devoting themselves to the apostles teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”

There is not set time to leave, yet most leave by 2:30-3:00pm. We also encourage our people to employ hospitality, inviting each other into homes.
